Some Buddies and Some Bay Bass

Any and everybody who knows me knows that there isn't much that stops me from being willing to show others the great fishing San Diego Bay has to offer. This includes the sun itself. So, when Eric called captain Mike Evans and booked a night trip for him and his buddy Tim, I was more than willing to be their guide.

We got on the water just before dark, and although Tim did get it started with a near 3 pound Sand Bass, the night really got going when Tim and Eric started the smack talk. Although it seemed each of them could take as well as they could give, somehow the fisherman's pride of these two from Chicago, would not let the other guy get the better of them fishing wise. Gotta love it.

They did have several doubles, and when they insisted I fish, we even got some triples. The bass, both Spotted Bay Bass and Sand Bass, were on the chew.

I could tell these two buds were really enjoying themselves. This was especially true when they asked to go back out again the next night. After enjoying these pics, please check out that report.
